"Then we will have to make due with the number of our forces. Last time I was there, scouts made a quick count of over five hundred possessed Mercykillers. Three squads won't be much good against that number unless we can find a means to sabotage."

Dace speaks again, somewhat cautiously, being unsure of the protocols. "What about getting reinforcements from the Harmonium or other planewalkers? Officer Hograth's returned to the Cage, he's one that wasn't interested in games. Worked with everyone just fine and arranged for the Harmonium reinforcements before. And...as for sabotage, well... how careful do we want to be about collateral damage?"
If The Factor or other officers take any note and allow him to continue, he does so.
"We can use magic to bomb down some of the buildings at certain points, block the road ways so they can't flank us. That we way we could maybe limit their own approach to only the roads we care to fight in, and force them to limit how many they send down to us at once."

"If you have a few allies you can call upon, then do so. However, we won't be involving the Harmonium in this operation."
Charae considered Dace's suggestions, then looked at Kierisen. "I'll assign Dace and Rozalina to you for this operation while my team will consist of Leona and Archer. I'll want the two of them to perform recon."
"As for collateral damage, let's keep it to a minimum if we can help it. I want this to be as clean as possible, but if there is no way around it then so be it, we'll level the whole camp if we have to."

From the shadows. Listening at first then putting in her own as she makes her self Known, Merium Pinklily, " I don't think a direct assault would Be advisable at all' been in that camp once and I'll tell you don't want to be there for long." she shivers at the memories. then speaks up " They came in one way. and something is controlling them. what we need to do is find what is controlling them and take that out. No Leader, no action. and if there really Hallowed out as some say, then it'll just be easy pickin's from there.
"Fighting them all is not an option theres like 8 of us Elite as way me be. but no less than 500 of them. I don't know about Archer here but I'm fairly sure I couldn't shoot down that many before we were swarmed."
"Oh one more thing bring stuff to protect that noggin of yours I don't even care if its Tinfoil as long as have something to keep them out of bonebox. Don't go prepared for what we know, and you may as well be wearing the finest meats around you and jumping into a Wolf pen."

"All due respect, Justice Pinklilly, a simple assassination of the Hive mind itself may or not actually do the trick, nor will it be possible to reach it without wading through a ton of the possessed. In the Gatehouse, we had to provoke the Hive mind into coming out by shutting down the portal, and doing that necessitated fighting past hundreds of the residents. The Hive itself also came with its own cadre.
Even if we did manage to reach him and get the drop on him, by the time we manage to so much as scratch him he'll have summoned his forces to flank us. Psionic link means he doesn't exactly have to send a missive out to let everyone in the camp know what's happening.
The other thing is that killing the Hive alone won't repair the damage. From previous intelligence, we got that the corruption spreads mainly by the number of Far Realmers gathered in an area, not just the Hive mind.
Having said that, I do agree that taking out the Hive mind IS the most important part, just saying that its not exactly an alternative to having to fight through the camp. Unless we resorted to a multi-pronged attack that could spread their forces out enough for a core team to go in and hunt, which we won't have the manpower for without the Harmonium, correct me if I'm wrong?" *he frowns a little* "Unless we want to try the same trick from last time.
As for protection; the Sign's still the best we have far as I know. We could requisition more wands from the Godsmen."
Another pause. He continues after a moment, albelit somewhat less confidently. "I suggest we also mark all our forces going in with the sign- either on an armband or something- so as to avoid confusion in battle as to whose on whose side."

The dwarf was listening all the time, taking notes of what he said, writing this meeting session's protocol.
His mind is calculating all the time- comparing possibilities, trying to turn the plans that are mentioned into numbers he can use for his mental projections.
When he speaks again his voice has an almost metallic ring to it as he adresses Dace:
"I calculate 100% casualties in the team that tries to use the same distraction for a third time. The assumption that we have not enough troops for a direct assault without Triad help is also correct."
Looking at Merium he goes on.
"A good idea. Nevertheless slaying a being made up of many smaller components with assassination is hard. I suggest an unusual tactic for it- like the use of poison or other harmful agents that can be spread among a great number of our opponents.
The camp still depends on Sigil's water supply, the troopers still send foraging and raiding parties out to gather supplies in the Lady's Ward. As those supplies dwindle and they cannot call upon divine help bercause of their nature their controlled mortal puppets will geat weaker fast if we manage to cut them off from aid and supplies."

Leona had stayed quiet and nigh invisible for most of the meeting finally spoke up, "If it is poisoning you want I can help with that. I am an expert with poisons." she would seem to think, "And from what I've heard my kind are immune to possession by the invaders. I'm also immune to my own poisons." she would pause slightly, "It is possible in addition to poisoning the water supplies we could turn a few of us who are immune to poisons into walking poison generators not unlike the demons in the abyss. With the proper supplies I could get to work on something like this."

Dace nods. "Poison might work... we haven't tried it before but there's no reason to think it wont. We do, however, need to be extremely careful. The last thing we need is for poisoned water or supplies to leak out to other sectors in the city and have someone trace it back to Mercykiller operations."

*she shook her head slightly* poison might work.. but is not our overall goal to Set Free our brothers and sisters of arms from the Possession.. what good would it do if we end up killing them all. Yes they will be Free from the curse but in the end they will be dead and our numbers will take even longer to Grow back to its strength
