Mashanie's warning hadnt gone unnoticed. The deities and patrons of Toril were vastly sceptical when a Tiefling of all species warned them of impending doom, but they eventually came to the conclusion these... outsiders, actually might be onto something. They made immediate prepairations, they would be ready, though each deity and vast nation had its own system, racism included, it made a unified Toril hard to create.

Still, individual nations, particularly Cromyr were more able to sense the present danger before anyone else. While they were vastly out-teched, divine power had far more influence in the primes, as did magic...

If this... Shadowsworn, wanted to come and invade, they were more than welcome to, they would get the same reception anyone did..., the swift sharpness of a blade to the throat and justice or revenge or the promise of mass sacrifice to dark gods.

With their work done, they'd be summoned back to Sigil by a calling to meet with Darius the Veyl, she had an important role for them to play, a very important one.

Two different parties respectivly setting out to achieve the same goal were determined to find a means to reach Mechanus, either first or together, it didnt matter.

Maelfina's vast network of contacts would make it easy enough for her to get in commune with The Syndicate, it wasnt hard to procure herself a hidden portal to Mechanus safley unnoticed. Should she bring Chari along, or anyone else for that matter, it was now up to her to make final prepairations.
Soon, very soon she would have her payback, Argantha would suffer, the Shadowsworn would suffer, and finally she'd get to relax, have peace, enjoy her life unhindered oncemore, and get back to doing what she wanted to do most of all, accend as a Godsman.

Hildmor would have Erin and the Sensates to appease, but his bountiful number of local connections to Sigil, and his financial influence bought him a swift Jammer to Mechanus, if he should bring Obannon with him it was equally up to him to bring along his comrade in arms.
There were also rumors of a group of Mercinaries being formed to prepair to repell any immediate attack on Sigil via the Shadowsworn, someone had paid alot to make sure they looked after the city of doors.

They had arrived to the shipyard they were designated to make due with. The Shipyard had several derelict and abbandoned Jammers but many still functional in this part of its facility. One of which stood out long enough to make its escape.

Roza and Khorne were introduced to a Shadowsworn representative before they were taken into realmspace. Where they had gone wasnt clear, but they had arrived onboard a far larger frigate which in turn docked into what was effectivly a mobile Jammer base, The Aegis.

The Aegis dwarfed any regular Jammer, causing a shadow to cast so braudly underneeth its shape it could drown out a quater of a prime's world in shadow.

They would be taken onboard into a various series of specific docking moors, security in this place was extremely compact, neatly designed to prevent any compramise and unwanted unpleasantries.

Onboard..., they would finally dock into the super-Jammers deep interior. The walls were dark steel glowing with bright blue and purple circuit boards flickering throughout their shape. The ships crew were huge, working night and day to keep prepairations going strong. This was no ordinary fleet, this was an invasion force.

There were enough jammers here to easily take over a prime or two. Enough men aswell, they might not have the most superiour manpower in terms of quality, but for quantity, they were certainly not short of expendable pawns.

They'd be escorted through the main power room. Several large tesla coil generators sparked violently into diamond shaped converters operating on some description of arcane power source below. A seethrough glass dome allowed them to see the core of the ship was huge enough to reprisent a literal mechanical heart, beating like a pulse, sending powerful waves of energy into its mechanical devices.

The Aegis also had several vast manufactoring bays where hundreds of spelljammers were being automatically processed, resorces tirelessly appeared through maintained portals where they were employed into construction of huge fleets aswell as new recruits to man them.

They would also pass through a series of laboratories, where experiements were being conducted on living tissue. One of Maelfina's more unfortunate girls was being horridly engineered in ways they would only dread to imagine while they passed by, the other girls all waiting in horror, praying to what ever gods or for their mistress to come save them, it wasnt as if they hadnt gone through enough horror already, they didnt need this too!

Continueing through into another laboratory was a research and development room for weapons aswell as armour, vast unstable chemical compounds, metal types were all being combined to formulate new more powerful weapons, automatic crossbows, even primative gunpowder technology compact for a hand-sized weapon.

It was here they were introduced to the brainbox behind the entire affair, Argantha. She stood busy working on an automated weapon, a small pistol that fired without a reload trigger.

She stored it personally to her hip and turned to face the two new recruits personally, grinning.

"Ah, yess, yesssss... your the new ones, they spoke of you. You will be the last to be introduced to the fleet in this dimension, this ... multiverse, so to speak, welcome to The Aegis. Is it not magnificent? I built everything here by my own two hands oh yes, it was a hard and taxing process but make no mistake I worked well enough to make it happen!"

She would babble on about a brief history of The Aegis of which the summary could be concluded:

When Argantha traveled into realmspace, she discovered The Archive's hidden capacity to travel between dimensions. She used it to create an alternative reality, one that she effectivly had complete control over. But being a woman clearly incapable of having enough power and experiments, she came back to her own reality with a fleet of jammers, obsessed with ruling two worlds with one mind.

Her work had been taxing, hard, difficult in many places. With limited resorces in "this" multiverse, and a strong dependancy for The Aegis to be able to supply her fleet with constant resorces from her own, she would soon need materials from this multiverse to continue its constant demanding procuction facilities, aswell as keep its power generator working efficently.

As to her plans?

The invasion of the Prime's, Sigil would come last but not least, though the Primes mattered more. Each of them had vast riches that and humanoid materials that could be used to fuel her perfectionist experiments.

She grinned manically, having explained herself to the two, she put them to work onboard The Aegis itself, giving them duty more primarily in the laboratory...

It was there that during a brief interlude, they would meet Huntress...

Khorne kept his usual calm all along, not showing any form of excitement at all, thou he himself was amazed by the sheer size of the Aegis.

When in the lab, he didn't really bother with anything, apart from laughing at all the "would be experiments" when he saw their misery. None the less, he would politely listen to all the madness that the "Professor" had to say and nodded a few times, to fake his interest.

Experiments and monstrous creations weren't his "thing", having told Argantha quite a few times that he's more interested in the men and women he will be fighting side by side with then all the miserable sods in the lab. He also expressed his desire to be "transferred" to somewhere more fitting for a warrior of his class, offering to even train the people who chose his style of weapon or fighting.

He was also quite interested in the invasion plans themselves, often asking other people if they could show him something concrete about them, since "a properly organized invasion can destroy any opposition: demonic, celestial or prime."

After the quite interesting and long day, Khorne would retreat to his quaters, eager to see if the Shaper kept his end of the bargain...

The deeds done, the words spoken, the duo heeded the call and returned to Sigil.

*Maelfina collects all of her schematical drawings of the dimension device/lightning lance and heads toward the portal as soon as she is made aware of it, making sure to drag Chari along for the trip as well. She spends her visit inquiring after the exact location (in both time and space) of the Aegis and Argantha's fleet, while also acquiring knowledge of how to properly power the dimensional device; and purchasing any necessary and available parts from Mechanus to make it function properly.

Upon their return, Mael sets to work implementing whatever parts and design expertise (if any) she gained from Mechanus to the Dimension Device, while also setting to work arming her new employees and their orcish allies with a wide array of quality weaponry forged by her own hands. *

Khorne would be the luckiest Eryines Harem man in The Aegis, tonight was a goodnight.

Later he would be given the reassignment he so desired, sent into the bulk of the troops he was even assigned quite swiftly as a Lieutenant for his initative and interest. The plans were laid before him in careful parchments so as to conceal their context, preventing even a public view from being discressed.

Roza, in contrast, would take an almost (almost certainly, anyway) morbid fascination with Argantha's work, although she herself wasn't quite sure why. Listening to the woman's ramblings, she'd idly prod around a bit and explore the lab and her little projects, perhaps trying to get a grasp of the scope of her work and intents. The tiefling would the experiments with a neutral expression, feeling some sympathy for their fate but quietly glad that was not her.

Though she quietly thought the woman deranged, she nonetheless found herself listening and trying to gain a certain understanding of her, if only to figure out her own fate in all of this. Occasionally she would ask questions, mostly relating to why Argantha went about doing something or another in particular, both to keep the woman talking and to gleam something through the madness.

Occasionally, when possible, Roza would also do a little exploration of the ship. She was never one to stay in one place for tooo long, if she could help it.

((A little OOC clarification though:
"The plans were laid before him in careful parchments so as to conceal their context, preventing even a public view from being discressed. " What do you mean by that? Would Khorne know that the Shadowsworn are planning on assaulting Sigil? And would he be able to get a hold of some copies of these plans for his personal use (he's planning on making a small brigade of falchionners :P), since he's technically a "Lieutenant"?))
