The four criminals sat around, drinking their cheap ale and playing cards. In a run down part of the Lower Ward, even for that part of town, sat a lightened shack.

Four large bottles sat on a upturned wagon wheel, which used a rotten thin board as a table top. They all held cards and joked merrily at their fortune. One of the escaped prisoners was set to pay them for services rendered and only a few days at a meeting place, was payday!

Slapping each other on the back, no one noticed that a figure watching them from inside the shack, silent as ever. No one noticed because she didn't wish to be known. Sitting and watching them, she has learned that one of the marks that escaped from the prison was paying these louts for their criminals activities. She waited and watched.. silent as night itself. Soon the criminals finished half their bottles and shown the tell tale signs of being under the influence of the poison she slipped in into two their bottles.. right in front of them.. but none saw and even less suspected.

Soon, one.. then two fell face forward.. dead. The remaining two immediately suspected each other and pulled out swords on each other. However before any words could be exchanged.. a small hiss as a blade left it's scabbard was heard.. Both turned to the noise but saw nothing. Then something! A form appeared out of the darkness and before either could react.. another was dead.

The remaining criminal saw his adversary and froze. Wearing nothing but red..the telltale helmet.. it was a MercyKiller! He dropped his blade and held up both hands in surrender. But she was not here for prisoners.. she wanted answers. She tossed a hefty coin purse on the rickety table. The criminals eyes bulged at the size and forgetting his fear, he quickly snatched it up and inspected the contents. It was enough for him to disappear.. Leave the lower ward and relocated to a better part of the city. Then she spoke, in a barely audible whisper "Who are you set to meet and where?". The criminal, fearing the wrath of the Red Death spoke. He told all he knew. The meeting place and the amount of his and his friend's cut.

Satisfied that she finally followed a worthwhile lead, there were to many which lead to dead ends or dead berks, she whispers. The illusion spell vanished and the bag of jink turned into it's true form.. A bag of small jink shaped stones. Not knowing he was tricked, the Mercykiller then uttered dark words. The criminal looked at her dumbfounded and never knew he life was snuffed out until the the spell Finger of Death was finished and he crumbled into a dead heap, clutching a bag of stones.

The Mercykiller then faded back into the shadows and left the run the shack, leaving the bodies where they lay...

///Heh, didnt mean for the narrative to be this long, but what can ya do eh? :P . I would like to arrange an event for the all Mercykillers to bring in one of the escaped convicts. Dms, chime in if you wish. You may comment on this thread if you wish, i would welcome it, especially other Mercykillers. It's time to wrangle a couple of those escaped convicts, hehe

//*waves* I'll do it. Isonade needs to be a more involved Mercykiller anyways.
I'm usually up for anything past 3PM EST.
