A message is delivered to the office

This is Carimalis Gree i am the Head of operations at Majika. I have some cargo i would like moved from a vacant astral domain and delivered to the school in Sigil. I have spoken with Vara and she agrees that Tuesday would be the best time as the domain is uninhabitable but contains a few things our school can use.

Will it be possible for you to arrange a cargo pickup on Tuesday and deliver it to the school? If you need the appropriate time to assemble your screw i fully understand and i hope that this is enough time for you be prepared for the journey.

Please respond when you can.

Signed Carimalis Gree

///Hopefully, we can do something this up and coming Tuesday.

After Mir had a discussion with someone, a word is delivered to the crew of Alice to be prepared for an important delivery. However, then she's handed the message from Carimalis.
  • "...take that back, prepare for two deliveries on a short notice instead - at two, three days from now", she corrects.
A short message is soon delivered to Carimalis,

-- "Certainly, we'll be at ready. Just require more specific instructions on where from to fetch the cargo."

((OOC: the first job here mentioned will be most likely handled with forum RP for some/most part, so that anyone associated with the crew etc can chime in without terrible hassle))

Upon receiving word of the impending delivery, he too returned to Alice, temporarly putting the constructions on hold. After his return, he arranged the preparations for the transport, and made sure the means of reaching the ship were delivered to each and every new crewmember.

Trek to "Iron City", Dis

The crew lazied around, awaiting, preparations done. Into action they stirred for a while upon arrival of the cargo to be delivered. What in the variety of containers held in them rose a few questions from among the crew, but they left it at that because Mir hadn't a clue either, and it wasn't in reality any of their concern anyway.

Bronn, Alice's dwarven cook, was informed that one of the coming passengers was on strict vegetable diet.
  • "Vegs, eh? Wha' kind of a lad or lass lives wit' jus' tha'?", the stout dwarf boggled.
  • "Don't know. Haven't met in person yet", was Mir's nonchalantly shrugging reply.
What was missing anymore then, was two passengers ...

After the cargo had arrived, Mash instructed a handful of the crew to guard the hold without pause. If anyone got tired, another took its place. He also instructed Sor'Ann to place glyphs of warding around the crates, only to be disabled upon arrival.

He smirked a bit at the request and the cook's reactions.

- Maybe it's a giant bunny rabbit.

As the streets of the Hive slowly brighten, the day winding its way from Antipeak to Peak, it is a rather odd pair gaining attention as they stride easily through the filthy streets of the ward. Of course, the human woman making her way towards the frontage of the House of Six Fingers, pausing to glance upwards from time to time at the moored jammer, would have drawn attention in the hive at any time; exotically attractive despite appearing to be in her mid-thirties, and clad in servicable yet obviously expensive travelling clothes, she seems the type of mark most Hive denizens would gladly welcome, if only for the potential of robbery, rape, and a host of other felonies. Perhaps some of the denizens who had taken the opportunity to deal with her during her early days in the Cage would recognize her as the interplanar merchant known as Seethe, known to have more than a few allies in the upper ranks of several Factions, yet it would be her companion that has to be creating a large, empty zone of safety around the pair.

Even in a city where encountering everything from ogres to angels to denizens of the Abyss is commonplace, the sight of a massive eight-foot reptilian humanoid weighing over eight hundred pounds and wearing masterwork armor plates obviously designed specifically for his form will give even the most ambitious criminal pause. Combine that with a softly glowing warmace as long as his companion held easily in one hand, and those watchers not alarmed at the sight of him find themselves wishing they had this sort of "companion".

Eventually, the onlooking crowds disperse as the two make their way onto the jammer, Seethe smiling as she looks around the ship, then turning to greet Mir. "It would seem everything is in order... Captain. This could turn out to be the most interesting way I've ever travelled to Dis."

With a slight gesture, she brings forward her scaled companion. "I believe you've met my armorer, B'groff... he'll be joining me in my cabin, and checking inventory as we arrive." B'groff simply nods while returning his weapon to a sheath strapped to his back, and gives a quick reply in a cultured voice that seems to have no business coming from such a being, "My thanks for allowing me to accompany Mistress Seethe, and for your allowance of my dietary preferences."

A few moments to settle in, before Seethe moves to the rail, saying in a carrying voice as she looks out over the rooftops of the Hive, "So... when do we leave?"

Trek to "Iron City", Dis

Mir glances up along the reptilian with a nod.
  • "We've not spoken before now, but I recall having seen you. Be welcome", she says, "mentor of a friend of mine."
The passengers are shown through most parts of the city. The dimly lit corridors of warm wooden color, a scent of something 'homely' permeating the place, although a hint of new paint and varnish coming to surface now and then.
  • "We can leave at the moment you say you're ready", Mir stated finally, showing the two quarters a fit for a noble.

Hearing the guests have arrived, Mash walks alongs the corridors, to meet up with them as Mir shows them their quarters. He gives both an appraising look, a hint of surprise mixed with awe as he lays eyes upon the lizardfolk.

- Though I'm sure the Cap'n has given the greetings, welcome aboard the Tangerine Queen. I'm called Mashanie, or Mash for short, and am the first mate of this fine vessel.

He bows a bit, inclining his head respectfully to both. He nods in agreement as Mir tells them that they can leave at any time, and adds:

- Once you have settled in, if you wish, we can show you to the cargo hold, to inspect your goods and the precautions we have taken for starters. If you have any wishes, we will try to accomodate them.
