He simply stands in the middle of the room, now turning his stare on the man who spoke, with unchanged expression.
"You know I am here for the girl. The Air Genasi. You better start talking, and quickly, because I am this close to losing what remains of my patience."
One Air Genasi Gone Missing

"I only move boxes, I don't know that much, but what I do know is that a few days ago this other Modrone arrived. It was rusty and squeaky and looked like it was falling part. I know the boss wrote everything down meticulously. They're like that Modrones. If there is anything to find it'll be recorded in his ledgers.
He takes a deep very nervous breath.
"So if you're going to turn me into a frog get it over with becasue thats all i know."

He listened carefully at the man, lips pressed and brows furrowed, then gestured toward the offices.
"Then show me."
He remembered that Modrone. Of course he had thought about the coincidence, but didn't give it much attention. What did it have to do with all this?
He turned again toward the man as he waited for him to lead to where the account books were kept.
"Where are all the others? Why are you so few in here today?"

He leads Rhistel into the back office usually occupied by Root of Nine.
"They were with the other Modrone. Root told us we wouldn't be needed and sent us home, three days in a row in fact. We thought we'd get laid off."
He takes a ledger and hands it to Rhistel it is open on the pages for the last week.

With a last look to the man, he takes the ledger he is handing him and carefully examines the contents of the last pages, clearly without knowing what was hoping to find.
He should be looking for Neerepha.
As he reads through, he speaks to the man again, this time without raising his eyes from the book and almost in a pensive tone.
"I need to buy a silver mirror. In good condition and of good quality," he simply states, gaze running across the pages.

Still focused on the book to find more information about the warehouse, he grabs for a parchment that may seem clean to write on and quickly compiles a receipt, stating he is taking the ledger for financial controls, then he hands it to the man.
"For your boss. Do tell them I will be waiting for their returrn." He states without even trying to conceal the tone of threat in his words.
He then finally considers the mirror they had brought him to see if it met the requirements for what he needed to do. He remembered too well what happened last time he tried scrying using an inadequate focus, and he wasn't willing to repeat the experience, not in these circumstances.
He couldn't afford it.

Rhistel and his misty companion make their way over to the warehouse. It is quieter than his last visit. The rusted Modrone and half of the teamsters are missing. He catches a glimpse of Root of Nine as he enters it seems to be quickly making its way into a back office. One of the teamsters presumably a foreman stops them. Or rather stops Rhistel being unaware of the vampire.
When asked the ogre mage says he saw her but he can't remember where she is going.
"Can we 'elp ya?

Intentioned in reaching for the the Drone, he comes to a halt when the foreman unexpectedly stops him from doing so.
His gaze whips to the man, the anger now barely controlled, and by the look in his eyes the teamster almost has the impression the half drow could try and kill him on the spot.
He doesn't move a finger, anyway, and when he speaks, his voice is perfectly controlled and only a single word is uttered between his teeth, just for the man to hear. A word that, if effective, would leave the other standing stunned on the spot, incapable of doing anything.
"Thank you," he then adds in a normal tone, and without even waiting to see if the spell had effect or not, he walks toward the office where O'Nine had disappeared.
He had been into the warehouse countless time, as a customer, for work... Nine Hells, all the furniture in his laboratory and workshop came from that damn place, and no one ever stopped him from walking straight to the owner until then.
They better have answers for him, because the urge to burn down something was already becoming worrying.

The power of the spell hits the man and he stumbles now standing in a daze. One of the teamsters seems to be about to advance on Rhistel until another places a hand on his shoulder and shakes his head. They seem to think better of it.
He opens the recently closed door just in time to see the Duodrone disappear into The Mechanus portal.
