*Fargul stands before Felicia, a cigarette as always between his lips, his sleeves rolled up, dust covering his clothes and two children running between his legs*
"Hmmm... Generous offer, but I'll be fine fer now. The fortune I earned from the original benefitor o' this institution's pretty sufficient fer now an' like ye seein' I pretty much got more donators than I can count. Apart from now I spent three friggen nights calculatin' everythin' to the last jink. Lemme assure ye financially this project's as safe as Torm's lap. However if I've been wrong, I'll certainly gonn' come back ta yer generous offer. But unfortunately I got quite a bunch a matters ta attend ta. 'Ave a nice day lass."
*with those words and a smile, he turns around and tries to keep two kids from not killing each other with wooden planks. he then disappears in another corridor carrying wood in order to build beds and benches*

With the Help of Mash and Mir, aswell as the children's work, the progress now becomes quicker. Children without a home see the building now and the number has gone up to roughly 20. Their laughter can be heard as they play with paint and other materials. Fargul leaves them much of the creativity but steps in as soon as it gets out of hand. It is obvious that this is a child's orphanage. Also signs are posted now under the original one:
"Looking for teachers, healers and educators in general. Will be paid aswell and offers for housing inside the institution."
Colorful rooms and a playground inside a small yard are slowly starting to grow. As the sleeping rooms are close to finish, the restaurant has been left quite deserted for now. Only the kitchen was finished in order to make something for the children. If there's no much work to be done, Fargul can be seen playing with the children, damaging the place at times worse than the actual children but he does not mind. He simply rebuilds it or rebuilds walls or constructions just to increase the possibilities.
At night, Fargul sits in his half-finished office, which consists of the old bed of the last owner and a big table, where he calculates the expenses and the state of his finances. If he gets bored he simply starts working on something which he can finish quickly.
The three main bedrooms are finished as children from various races and looks sleep inside the triple beds, which are somtimes connected with ladders, ropes and other funny constructions which can be used to play with. The rooms are colorful varying from green, red, blue or even pink. Still there is many rooms where there are unfinished furniture or even half-painted walls. All in all though it is far from finished.

A number of days later, a halfling walks up to the shelter, after work has been progressing, somewhat haphazardly. This halfling, dressed as an adventurer, rather than a work man, never the less starts to scrutinize every detail of the structure being expanded, looking over it's outer foundations, perimeter walls, bracing, possibly putting any workmen around on edge.
Finally, a neighbor from across the road walks over to the small man, the hin, inquiring why he's nosing around Fargul's place, Lerrick's Shelter. Normally, cagers don't make much of a point of asking such things, but apparently the small one is seen more as odd, than a threat.
"What am I doing poking around? Eh, better question bub, is why yer asking me? You ain't the watch, but if you're looking out for Fargul, tha's fine. I'm just checking the quality of the work here, don't want the place falling down now, do we? Didn't think so!".
The halfling fully rounds on the interloper, starting to truly address him.
"You see this here? This wall post! It ain't even set into a foundation, just standing here on the cobblestone!", the halfling begins to drag the neighbor around pointing to different features of the newer construction.
"See that, that and that? All these newer outer walls are just floating... a good push from something like a rare wind, or some errant wizard's squabble and it all comes tilting down. Proper building needs a foundation, like them Dabus seem to conjure up in just a few days. Who the hell recommended these workmen to Fargul? The Captn' deserves better... these kids deserve better."
The hin, evidently worked up into a fury, allows the neighbor to fade away, as he continues to pace the perimeter, checking into additional deficiencies, dreading what flaws may be INSIDE. He seems to be mumbling to himself, angrily, but gradually cools down. Finally he walks up to the Shelter's front door and knocks. If anyone answers, he asks for "the Captn'", later clairifying, " Fargul".

A grim-looking elf wanders up to the door of the establishment, and nails a note to the door with the butt of a rapier. The note is in a flowing elven script.
wrote: To the proprietor of this establishment,
If you're keen on building an orphanage, then you should come to the orphanage at the Gatehouse and take a few kids of their hands.
It'll also help you network whatever the hell else you plan to turn this place into if you don't mind the occasional poetry reading.

After a few weeks, after the Orphanage has been set up finally and made safer due to Ganelon's help, all of a sudden the current owner, Fargul Bernadotte went missing. He left one of the "mothers" in charge, an old dwarven woman called Egritina "Tina" Rockbiter. She looks at the note from the Factotum Amir and replies later
wrote: Dear Factotum,
I am surely aware of the orphanage at the Gatehouse and we had already a few entering from your institution, due to connections of the founder with someone working at the Gatehouse. I more than happy to cooperate in joint events and am looking forward in meeting you, face to face. However we are having a bit of a problem here, as the mentioned founder has been missing all of a sudden and we could not find him. But that should not bother you, as it doesn't me.
Sincerely
Egritina from the Clan of the Rockbiters.

After the long absence of the owner of the building and the current situation, the orphanage has undergone many changes. However after the fights were over, Fargul could start rennovations (Somre more martial than others) and finally managed to finish his personal dream: His own restaurant.
Upon entering the Heavy Gates of the orphanage, there is a sign that points to the left and says "Down the stairs to restaurant". A small door would lead one down into a basement, which has been rearranged, with benches tables and a kitchen. A sign hangs over the entrance, with a bent sword, that seems to be chuckling. Lamps are keeping the restaurant in a calm dim light, which gives much warmth and comfort to the room. There not more than eight tables, with about four chairs each in different heights and sizes. There is a small board for special menues. The kitchen is in the next room. Weapons, trophies and other decorations give the room a calm atmoshpere. If there wasn't a missing counter for drinks, this could be easily mistaken as a Tavern. The prices vary according to the ingredients used.
In front of the Orphanage it says:
GRAND OPENING: TO THE LAUGHING SWORD
The door is open for all kinds of folks to enter to try new and exotic meals, aswell as prime dishes that have been rearranged in new versions. The menu includes:
Entrés:
- Gorgon carpaccio
- Dragonturtle Soup
- Dryad's salad (No it does not include Dryad)
- Cooked Assassin vine leaves
- Werecow cheese and apple bread
- Tomato essence with Formian eggs
Main:
- "The Soldiers Last Meal" (A mixture of cow meat and seasonal vegetables)
- Tarrasque Steak (Cut from a Tarrasque's back. The creature regenerated it)
- Otyugh liver in a sauce of ectoplasm and pepper
- Marinated Roc-nuggets
- Tyrannosaur Back cooked up in Abyssal plants
- "Blonde hair" (A dough mixture of wheat, eggs and flour, cooked up and served with Tomato paste)
- Seasonal salads (Wishes included)
- Potato fingers with Allip slips in bread crust (These have all been cooked in Bison fat)
Dessert:
- Ice taken from the Paraelemental plane of Ice, with milk, sugar and various tastes available (Ranging from Vanilla to Iron)
- "Celestial honey" (A certain type of honey, refined to match the colors of the rainbow)
- Cream made from Unicorn milk, with crystalized sugars and cinammon cookies.
- Caramelized sugar with apple on a stick made out of sugar (Warning: Can cause to active behaviour due to purified sugar)
(In addition, personal wishes will be taken in, but might raise the prices.)
The doors are open and the dishes polished. Customers are welcome.

*Mash strolls down the Hive and takes a casual glance at Farg's place as he always does, when he notices the sign up front. A wide smile settles on his face, and after he made sure he sent word to his counterpart, he strides thourgh the doors, to enter the establishment. He walks around a bit, smirking at the sign of the restaurant, and admiring the interior*
"Farg, you really outdone yourself this time." *chuckles* "Think you can fire up the hearth, sent word to Mir, and as promised, you have your first regulars."

*After the Shadwosworn crisis, the Orphanage has been finally rebuilt due to the help of several individuals such as Vorgazar's Orcs and Saiph. However the mood is still not perfect again, since some of the kids did not make it through that bloody day. Sometimes people pass by for entertainment and it brightens the mood. But still the shadow hangs over the orphanage.
At the same time, Fargul strives the city for Orphans. Not only in the Hive, are new ones to be found but all over the city. The building itself slowly gets crowded and Fargul's worries about financial security and space in general, start growing. At the same time, he not only goes around and collects children from the street but also presses on the slavers in the city. Most of them know his name and have already learned his harsh side, as he "argued" to get any child from a slave trader.
At the same time, was his restaurant finally opened again. As Fargul has to work alone most of the time, with one of the children helping out in the kitchen at times, the service tends to take its time. On the other hand, is this place more of a secret success. The few people who arrive are usually coming at least once every week. But still the number of visitors isn't growing as he wonders if he is going to make much money. Most of the orphanage is already financed by the coin, he makes from venturing on the rare occasions.
In general Fargul is thinking more often about new ways of settling.*
