A Silent Auction

* tall man in jet-black armor and a Broadsword of similar color can be seen walking through Lower and Hive Ward, asking around for Kiltz. As soon as he finds him he gets into a discussion with him*

"Arrite, so I'll bid 200.000 jink for the item. That should beat the offers so far, not?"

A hunched, cowled individual offers a handful of screws and buttons in return for Kiltz's delightful name.

Kiltz is busy at his desk, when the cultist arrives. As usual no features are present as the cultist mutters a pass phrase as he lays a hefty amount of jink on the his desk before requesting what offers have been made.

After browsing through, he finally gives a nod. A deep raspy voice emerges from behind the mask "One, two hundred thousand jink hmm. I never thought the price would soar so high. Very well, continue taking bids. Here is some more for your troubles." Now several large gems are placed on the table. "Change locations, it seems we've attracted the attention of the good guys, as i knew it would. Keep the list silent, and mention the names to no one. Change locations and gather information on everyone that placed a bid. This relic shall not end up in the hands of one what intends to free it. We will keep the auction open for several more days before i come to a decision."

After a moments pause, another bag is produced from beneath the folds of the masked man and he lays in on the desk besides the first one "Hire someone expendable to take your place here. Use the same name. It would not bode well for you to fall in the wrong hands..."



With that being said a low word is uttered and shadows wrap around him and then his is whisked away. Despite himselt, Kiltz shudders at the cold hearted nature of the man's speech, then he starts collecting and packing his few belongings.

Kiltz packs his bags and collects various notes he has accumulated over the years. His mysterious benefactor arrived earlier and told him that an offer has been accepted. He doesn't know which one, but he gives a deep sigh of thanks that this job is officially over.

All that is left to do is contact the Mercykillers about some very interesting criminals in the lower ward, that have been avoiding arrest He nods seeing the direction this plan is going into and pockets a gem with a trap fairy inside, dropping it into one of his concealed pouches.

This will be planted and used to good effect. Maybe working for this guy is beneficial he thinks...
