I think that the race of Killoren should have its appearance, not variation. I wanted to create a character, but I'm having problems with the customization,so as not to be believed, they have there creation of nature. In General,I want to contact the answer.

This is actually something that's always kind of bugged me too, if it's the same issue. While I understand they were given a 'universal' image to represent and be used as a base for a number of fey races (or at least allow it), I'd much rather see them looking more plant-like. At the very least: textured skin, perhaps, with a palette limited to natural colors. Maybe add the dryad VFX if it's not too high on server strain?

To my understanding, they aren't the as the Wiki pictures them (an original concept unrelated to D&D), but in fact are rather bestial to look at:

full-grown by the age of 10, and live very long lives, hardly
changing at all in appearance for their first century. Killoren
have green or tan skin the texture of a soft, young leaf, and
their limbs are unusually long and slender when compared
with those of the humanoid races. An individual killorenÂ’s
hair and eye color depends on which aspect of nature the
killoren is currently manifesting.
This is the physical description from the book they where taken from. A soft texture on their skin could work, but would require someone to be able to creature such an effect.

There's no need to limit visual customization, especially since we don't have a rule requiring you to play what's on your sheet. Many people simply select Killoren to represent some kind of 'minor Fey,' and never change their seasonal aspect.

I know that if I were forced to make Lys green or tan next rebuild, I would be upset, because she's only mechanically a Killoren. ICly she's some unnamed and unmentioned type of minor Winter Fey, and her incredibly pale skin tone selection is supposed to be representative of hypothermia.

People who want to play a Killoren as taken at face value can purposefully ~choose~ a green or tan skin tone, but people who don't shouldn't be forced to.

Why take Killoren without changing hair for minor fey..? Can you not just do the same thing with the base Half-elf race instead?

Creature type. Half-elves are humanoids, Killoren are properly Fey.

I was under the impression that your character sheet did not have to be enforced? Or is creature type an exception to that rule?

In RP, it does not. However, there are many mechanics, such as Favored Enemy and Charm Person, which will affect you differently depending on what your mechanical creature type is.
