because they are fun and my post count is not uber yet :P

This week I am pondering Spirit shaman. There is a few ways to go with this build if you go for DC boost the crap out of charisma and then blackguard or paladin to add it to saves ac and smiing.

Though myself I been pondering just making it a self buffer with dc crap for spells. going level 19 to have the ability to auto raise though 20 is nice due to damage reduction....question is what stats or other classes to mix in ther for those 11 or 10 levels...hmm.

So....lets see what ideas you have.

Spirit Shaman/Cleric/Doomguide/Warpriest

A "positive energy spirit warrior" or something.

(And I'm not even sure if you can combine those classes)

How about 19 spirit shaman/11 monk (greater flurry level)? :P flame weapon and storm avatar for +1d8 fire damage and +3d6 electric damage to dual kamas ;P

And since you're concentrating on wisdom (since you decided to go with low DCs, so wisdom is still needed for casting and monk abilities) so gets some benefit of monk. Combine with some dexterity to get some two weapon fighting feats and get owls insight to assist and you'll get some mediocrity.

At least something to think about, just that your AB will suffer greatly, your main role will likely be group supporter, but this should allow you to do some damage too... not too greatly.

Aasimar Sorcerer 6, Arcane Scholar 10, Eldritch Knight 10, Spirit Shaman 3.

The build would be all about abusing one particular bug.

what bug?

hmm monk/SS seems like a perfect match though I always like 4 classes it makes it so you do not have to scroll when leveling up have to ponder that one something with Perfect TWF would be interesting.

does Arcane Scholar add to both classes?

A bug where all arcane spellcaster prestige classes would count towards the Spirit Shaman caster level and spell progression.

Thus with the bug exploit build I described you would have a caster with 29 Sorcerer levels and 26 Spirit Shaman levels. (2 x Practiced Spell Caster.)

The trick lies in how you gain the levels.

Start with either SS or S. By level two you should have one levels in each. Then proceed with S-levels until you reach the 3rd level spells. Pick an arcane PrC, get all ten levels of it and then pick a second SS-level. It will allow you to select spells from the druid spell list according to the buggy SS-caster level. (SS Level + PrC levels.) Thus you can repeat the steps with another PrC.

Notice, you will only gain the SS-spells only when you get an actual SS-level.

Alternatively you could go for: Sor 6, SS 1, 20 PrC, SS1 - to get the full SS spell progression.

At character creation get both Wisdom and Charisma modifiers to 18 minimum. Drop one extra point in Wisdom and the rest in Charisma.

Cheesy-cheese-chee...

And I'm sure the staff will not to be too pleased if the spot someone with such a build. But it is quite a bit of fun for OC and MotB.

I have been doing spirit shaman builds for the past month since replaying nwn 2. From an rp prospective and self preservation point of view it is far from a weak class. With of course blackguard levels and maybe a cleric level you can obtain quite a decent DC for your casting in almost pure SS levels itself along with high saves to boot and a decent divine shield for a nice AC along with spells. Its not a power build but its far from an awful class. Its very playable and not as gimp in the persistent world as people think.
