Frankly, yes.
Why wasn't the character's Aligment set as "Neutral" at the character creation?
And if there is some "role-playing" reason for the aligment shift, surely those can brought into daylight.

Does it concern you in any way ?wrote:Frankly, yes.
Because maybe the alignement, ethics and general moral outlook of a character might be subject to change during the course of story progression ?wrote:Why wasn't the character's Aligment set as "Neutral" at the character creation?
I'm pretty sure spiegel can supply those reasons to a DM if need be and they don't have to be squashed on the open boards for everyone to see.wrote: And if there is some "role-playing" reason for the aligment shift, surely those can brought into daylight.

Why yes, I am glad you asked, it does.[<3 wrote:,Nov 8 2009, 07:47 AM]Does it concern you in any way ?
Now, first of all, what makes you presume that those need to be squashed? Simply presenting them should suffice, if you ask me.[<3 wrote:,Nov 8 2009, 07:47 AM]Because maybe the alignement, ethics and general moral outlook of a character might be subject to change during the course of story progression?

With them on the open boards for everyone to see, people could see what is actually "required" to get your character's aligment changed. With this critera being of public knowledge - it would translate into a policy. Thus players would get treated fair and square regarding the matter. In theory at least.
For me, the real question is: do the new ethics and moral outlook of a character really validate a change in the Aligment? I've always found the aligment definitions to be quite wide and the lines seperating them blurred.
