I kinda am carrying this idea for a while now....

Kelth is a warrior poet, so, song and poetry combined.

I was wondering.......is there any interest from fellow bard players to organise something IC in the Hammer (nice stage there!) or the Festhall (also nice stage!) for our bardic chars? be it a contest or a simple night of entertainment for ourselves and all chars who would be interested to participate in such an event?

If so, let's stick our heads together and work something out? ^_^

I am completely for this! I just made a nice little bard and he's getting himself introduced about. Would be a perfect night I think!

Krug is a bard... he's not very good, though.

I have never successfully played a bard.

HOWEVER

Kimmy does know a couple songs... she just has no musical skill... or does she?

Hells, it isnt about your char being good or not ^_^

this is about people having a bard char and would like to organise an event with eachother to have their char perform a bit in front of live audience (players interested in participating)

a simple, fun thing for people to enjoy *shrug* and a shot to have chars mingle a bit in their own way

(or chars like nastasia blowing up the entire event? :P )

Guess I try to bring out the bards a bit and see if there is enthusiasm to organise something with eachother. More than happy to have it turn into a prom as well :P I am open for anything really

Gah..just when I promised myself not to play ANOTHER bard for a while...this sounds fun. Guess I could have Naya play sensate hostess for the experience, opening up the festhall and trying a song (out of key to be sure!) to feel what it is like, borrow Amir's harp and do the 'Angel-thang'

Blow up the event? Darling, why ever would she miss out on the social event of the season, or ruin a chance for some real fun by causing an explosion?

:P

But I guess I should have been more clear. I don't have a bard character. Though Kimmy (my elf) is the closest to... she's a sorceress, but has been cast as a lead role in a play AND has sung horribly (off key, like Pasha said Naya would) infront of people.

Salazar might be willing to play....

If there's enough of an audience.

And if he gets crispy cremes in his dressing room.

lol, cremes can be provided.....maybe if he asks Kelth real nicely Kelth will share his Aloe Vera secret with him......

anyway, EVERYONE and everything is welcome.

The Bards to perform, other people to do other things! a Hostess is a wonderfull idea, so is a play! it doesnt need to be all song/poetry. Telling a tale, singing, poetry, a play........a dance......anything ^_^

if someone wants to play a barwench, hells, that is fine as well!
