Badass(tm) Moments

Just a thread for your character's most badass battle or otherwise moments! (Or moments where you just were incredibly lucky ^_^ )

Just today I took on the mindflayer in Undersigil, who had apparently acquired a scroll of Finger of Death... when I came into sight, he whipped it out and read the scroll, and i rolled EXACTLY to match the DC 20 of that spell or it would have been lights out. If I had not had my belt with +4 vs Death on and also Protection from Evil which gives +2 to saves vs Evil, that would have been one silly death. :lol:

Another kinda cool moment was when I Charmed a dire bear to take it out of the fight and the enemy caster dispelled the Charm. Never seen that happen before hehe.

The time when Marius used dominate monster on Pit Fiend Warlord and got the Pit Fiend Warlord fight against Balor Berserker <.<

RP moments...

I really enjoyed it when Arvolexia was lurking around Marek Ovilion's room invisibly, pretending to "haunt" him. She wrote messages to him on paper, making it seem as if the quill was enchanted, then disturbed other objects in the room. Poor guy. Was terribly fun!

And then there was that time when Mordavrin managed to convince Card Meynolt that the only way for them to travel through portals was if she dowsed for them with this silly little divining ritual.

I've shared a ton of really great RP moments that are primarily due to other players on the server and their great ability to go with moments, or create those moments to be gone along with...including the above. Thank you all so much. You're all such an amazing pleasure to play this game with.

I remember one occasion where a group I was grinding Undersigil with encountered the Basilisk near that temple. Amir managed to avoid being turned to stone literally by the skin of his teeth, and even finished off the Basilisk afterwards, while the rest of the party was turned to stone.

First solo attempt in the Abyss recently...new spell...Word of Faith...freeking scared of Naya dying alone but I wanted to try sooooo had her hang around the entrance ready to rush back. Buffed up, hit the spawns......MUHAHAHAHAHA feel my divine fury...they all turned away on that spell, 2 cambions, 3 shadow allowing me to slice n dice, with minimal damage to self, lots of smiting powah!

Possibly a fluke...will try again soon. *grins like a fool pleased with herself, high fiving right hand to left hand in the air*
