Soonish more areas...

Well I've been testing around the server for good while how well one can manage on different levels and made some tweaking to monsters as I get time to it... but also I have been slowly making some more areas... On this week I will likely finish at least few projects (and some are already finished)

- Expanding Under Sigil.
- Remaking Lady's Ward to be prettier.
- Expanding Mercuria (credits to pel for that though)
- Expanding Paraelemental Plane of Ice.

Also hoping to get a few more quests added to introduce portals more. But since I don't want to make empty promises, working on toolset takes time, and I do want to enjoy playing on the server as well ;) it's not like I'd waste months to build it just to get more work.

If some of you cutters feel confident with toolset, feel free to drop me a PM or put message on this thread in case you'd want to help on contributing also... doesn't need to be much, can be something simple like conversations, items, NPCs as well. (not a necessarity, but it is a possibility if someone feels like messing around toolset)

Sawesome!

Well, I haven't build any areas in the toolset, but I've done a bit of work with items and NPC's, so I'd be happy to help with some of those. If/when I have time.

I would be willing to write a few conversations for NPCs, fetch-and-carry quests, or anything else you feel like you need. Tell me what you want and I can send you .erfs.

Do you take in written dialogue parts or do you require it being in the .erf format?

Written dialogs are fine also, I don't necessarily need erfs. More of the idea behind them ;)

Where to send them?

As for those whom want to make quests: It's a bit tricky to move the journal, but here is how to do it. This is since I don't think you still can export it like other parts... of course if you don't feel savvy enough, you can just send the whole module to me.

Step one: Your module needs to be saved on "Directory", this is easy, just while you are in toolset go to, File -> Save in Directory...

Step two: So you have saved your module in directory, now go to your 'My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/modules' folder, in there you can see folder named by the module you saved in directory... open that folder and look for "module.jrl"

Step three: Just send it for me with the other files.

Oh and dialogs for already existing NPCs are just fine.. if you see currently silent NPC that you know you'd want to see saying something, feel free to make conversation for them. I will eventually get to these myself as well, but there is plenty to do :-)

Generally from conversations doesn't matter overly what kind of dialogs, we need standard "not-important" commoner dialogs who might just say "pike it sod! Go look for lemon" or even some minor conversations that might provide minor experience rewards (granted that it should be something fitting, and not just getting 10 experience for saying "hi" ;) )

I've got some experience with the toolset and coding in general. I'd be interested in maybe building an Outlands gatetown and some surrounding areas... would that be cool?

We're not really interested in Gatetowns, since we don't want to make several "cities" on the server which might spread the rp a bit thin (as we've seen on other pw's that have many cities)

But if you feel like making some areas for us that would be great :) Drop me a pm and I'll throw you some suggestions on what we could use.

And to expand this a bit, an city full of hostile critters is another story ;) ... but generally we want Sigil to be the single only neutral/friendly city to have a certain "RP center", and since Sigil tends to harbor just about all the races within, there shouldn't be problem for even more questionable creatures to linger around there... although of course.. clueless berks might not always like them :P

We actually have plans for something like that ;)
