Not sure about RP style... but I think I enjoy most of all rp'ing a characters adversity... falling from grace, losing loved ones, dominated by evil mage, etc... And I love plotting... the longer the goals take, and the less who know I was behind it IC the better :)

Hey, I just wanted to catch a feel for what type of RP everyone here is into.

Personally, I usually RP on the go. As in, I bump into other PCs, 'encountering them,' and take it from there. My guy will react to the environment and interact with other party members while we grind.

Also, I'm really into cloak-and-dagger RP, when I can get involved. There's nothing like not knowing if you can trust your own 'allies.' It encourages me to pay attention to the details of what's going on, and it's a good chance to make some dice rolls.

I'm not really into campfire-RP. Sit around the campfire, ask about what's new, listen to some guy tell his life story, watch two lovers have a spat. I've done it in the past, but it gets repetitive, and it's hard to approach a group and just jump in when you don't know them. Heck, I have trouble with that in real life.

So.. what are you guys into?

Ditto on disliking the campfire thing. I prefer reacting to situations where you need to actually do something and reach a goal. And I prefer the "small" things and party RP to big plots and stuff like that.

Oh, I'm a floater :P

I RP with anyone and everyone I come across. I love long walks on the beach and... no wait, sorry got sidetracked!

I'm cool with long RP that doesn't lead anywhere. I can happily sit around and listen to people go on about their "troubled pasts"... and I also like the quick "Hey, let's go kill stuff!" type RP.

Honestly, I love character development... not big on characters that never change despite what they've been through.

A lot of how I RP depends on who I'm playing. Nastasia is a very social character... I've played less social characters before too.

I think that explains it... maybe?

char development is no1 for me. all of them will have a past, joyfull or crap.

Kelth is a char of mine I allready have going for 5 years with a huge tale. Sigil would be a fitting setting for him to get on with life so I rp development and keep open for anyone.

I like adventure rp's, campfire rp at times can be really good, silly rp's.....

I just tend to keep an open mind and see who/what crosses my path ^_^

If I don't have to force the RP, then I'll RP it :P so depends on subject/situation/occasion, but namely anything goes as long as it ain't forced to stutter word or two to remove the awkward silence.

I love the dark cloak and dagger RP and my chars always levitate towards the Spy/Rogue/Assassin types that get themselves involved in deep RP plots.

Campfire RP can often be good however they can just as often get repetitive and slow but I have to admit that some of the better RP I have seen has fallen into this category. Adventure RP is a must for me, the grind I find boring but mix it with a group adventure style RP, including the campfire resting etc can be great fun.
