Just curious but I noticed that the deity Mask isn't included in the deity list. Was this intentional per chance? He's Spec's "usual" deity.

Mask is in the default NWN2 package.

Sounds like a bug.

We've removed some of the "less interesting" forgotten realms deities to make room for other pantheons. Make a good case of why your deity is well represented on the planes and I'll consider readding it.

Mask is God of Rogues and there are a lot of Rogues but if one of the other Gods has thieves and assasins in its portfolio I would just use that and still rp Mask and Vhaeraun because I like to.

So is there another God Of Rogues to pick.

Olidammara would be the typical rogue god

On my observation, there usually is like at least half-dozen different deities with very similar dogma / area of expertise.

Mask is evil. Mask and Olidamarra have two completely different styles I believe. And I don't think Oli's evil, is he?

There is also Sung Chiang who resides in the Teardrop Palace in the Gray Waste. Another god of thieves. A very cool one at that. He's of the Chinese Pantheon I believe.

I'll consider it next time I make a change to haks.
Woot! Go Mask! *begins running around in an overly-skulking manner*

Olidammara is more the neutral sort of Rogue god, and always gave me the feeling of being more towards neutral good than neutral evil. Sort of like the jolly old, even somewhat theatrical, rogue. Heck, the "guy" even has tons of adventurous bards amongst his following. The sort that swipe a bread when they can't get anyone to sponsor their eating habits. I know, silly guys those bards and their eating habits.

Mask is Mask. MASK! Put him back in, sheesh! Think I made my point. ;)

But on a little more serious note. Olidammara and Mask are both the sort of deities that should be on the worship-list. Mask is a big enough player in the Forgotten Realms pantheon to play a trick or two on Shar. You know, big evil kind of Shar? The type you normally won't pick a fight with sort. And yes, Mask kind of got ixnayed by Shar with DnD transitioning from v3.5 to 4e but I'm pretty sure Paul S. Kemp is planning a come back for the old one-eyed crankypants as some of his Chosen are still alive.

As for who's Paul S. Kemp? Be ashamed, be very ashamed. And while you're being very ashamed go read his Erevis Cale Trilogy (of which the first book Twilight Falling is a free downloadable PDF available from Wizards of the Coast http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4dnd/20090309 ) and also read his The Twilight War trilogy as to read up on what the hell happened to Mask and why he isn't mentioned in the 4e Forgotten Realms gaming supplements.
And no, it's not because he sucks... <_<
