While the DL of the content is still on,i would like to ask some questions.
I want my character to be a Ravenloft vampire(Wizard of Illusion,Rouge,Arcane Trickster,Shadowdancer or may be PaleMaster instead Arcane Trickster or rouge.)
He will be an Elf or a Human.I hope its not fobidden to RP,is it?I will choose most
pale skin Tint for him and so on.RPwise escaped(obviously fred by Dark Powers,he couldnt Leave the Deep Ethereal without their help lol).I hope there are some Reinessance clothes though.Anyway, even if you cant let me play a vampire
i will go for ususal victim of the Mists.Ok?
Thank you folks,Hey Mr.O TFR is getting better, though its offline for now,i think you know it :)
Hello i am new and i have some questions.

Greetings,i recognise you as well. How are you doing?I think if i like this PW i will have 2 homes - TFR and here..!Multisetting theme works great for all these fans of different "worlds".
And yeah,I will repell from garlic, loose my mind is sight of blood, find an RPwise place for a coffin in Sigil anddie from Turns(Temorarily),RP being healed from Inflict Wound and get harm from Heal spells.Dont worry.

well that is good, had some intresting issues with a vampire once though I had fun with it. You would have to dig around TFR forums to find it. haha.
Sigil you will see undead, demons, and angels. Its a chaotic mess which is fun. So if you decide to be a vampire be prepared for less "OMGZ...NOOSSSS". and more "oh hello, yeah do not bite me". Or some might go "BITE ME BITE ME".
heh.

I don't really know anything about ravenloft vampires, so I'll say a tentative no until I know more...
A ravenloft native escaped from the mists is fine though...
Undead is kind of problematic to play with roleplay only... they really need to be turned undead characters to make healing hurt, turning work against them, detect undead, and so on...

Could not resist, made the Vamp character. It is RPable,it is.
But all the PvP must be mixed with Emoting like *Falls on the ground after the turning wave hits him* and so on.

Well that is if Cryptic or MR O doesnt actually turn you into one cause that is doable here with a big ELC

The Dark Powers never let anyone go ...
Nothing ever escapes Ravenloft (except Vecna).
Also, please be aware that you cannot tell other players how to emote or how to react to PvP initated by you, 'cause essentialy that's both cheesy and griefy at the same time. In short, if you play a bloodsucking monster of the night be prepared to have people react to you in vastly different ways. Some would run away, some drop to the ground in unbeholden terror and some might just smite your character or 'turn undead'. ;)
And yes, I know about what I speak ... I played a vampire in an online rpg for 4 years. While it was a very rewarding experience as well, it also used to be highly demanding because I was fulfilling the role of a semi-NPC with the same responsibilities a DM had on that server.
On a sidenote ... I'd really wish people would wait 'til the subraces are implemented - instead of just cheesing everything they want to play.
