And that would be something I call... unnecessary. OOC remarks that just attempts to put others in bad light is not contributing or helping. Players don't really want to hear "You've done something wrong"... because that's not helpful... infact they'd be happier to not have ever heard it at all. (this far, feeling likely is pretty much described above)
What gets far better response is suggestions... tips... hints... but they aren't required to be shoved to players either. You can offer to give one... if they want not hear it, that's the end of it.
People come to play the game to get some peace of the real life and its troublesome aspects and last thing they want is people telling them what to do in game also ;)
Now naturally if someone is breaking the rules, you can let them know it's against the rules. But if they decide to persist, best idea is to just walk away... no need to stress about it, take screenies and let DMs handle it.

In general about the thread I've come to think about few points that probably pretty much guides how to proceed about the entire "HiPS" situation. (well it works for most situations ;P)
You can't force
your (thee reader and me) roleplaying way to others. Same as they can't force
their (the others) roleplaying to yours... Why not? Why won't you roleplay like the fella right infront of you says you to play? Probably same reason as the one infront of you won't play like you want them to. After the deppressing truth... here's the gist!
- What you want to do is to
inspire others. Show them your way, do it with style, if it's enough convincing and well done, others likely will grasp to the same concept way or another... because they might see it's more "logical"/fun way to do it. Just do your side of work, that's what you really need to be worried of, not so much what others are doing wrong ;) Leading by example as bloods say.
