Agreed. I think everyone that interupted the duel should expect their alignment to make a shift towards chaotic

It's funny how everybody keep treating "lawful good" characters as law abiding citizens. You are aware that "lawful" axis implies to a character's own set of laws and not the written ones?

Lawful is literally defined by the books as a respect for order and the structure of society. The example of asians 'community over the individual' is a great example of law opposed to our western chaotic notions of the individuals value over group needs.

This 'I have my own code' is really just a way for us to have paladin on our character sheet but not need to act like a knight with some higher ideals when playing an American with a sword and the ability to 'lay on hands' is so much more appealing

A quote from the D20 page on the lawful alignment

wrote:Law" implies honor, trustworthiness, obedience to authority, and reliability.

I think it is more than a little bit implied that honor would surely mean keeping your hands off an HONOR DUEL, unless someone was cheating. Intruding on something that was a matter of honor was certainly a chaotic action, making your desires more important than societies accepted norms.

This is not to say anyone played 'wrong', I think Animus was being a kind hearted friend in that scene and that is totally in character... but that action still deserves a chaotic bump

Lost and not found was spot on in his appraisal of the scene
