while I can agree with some of that... problem is how do they moderate what happens over voice chat? and who's around the clock to moderate all the extensive text chat?

while I would too, If i was still in that Discord server :P - However can imagine the staff being poked by every tom, dick, and harry in the discord server... they have lives too, they cant be asked to be on call 24/7

no one :P - but as I said before alternative methods exist already :) forum PM the IRC and so on. Why do they need to bother with another thing that requires that much more attention than the rest. That's all.

Yep. It's just a chat room, and just like in the other server's discord, The DM's are there and sometimes generally post announments up there, and quite frankly, not every one uses the forums or IRC.

Well, the forums are the main way of communicating outside of the server, having to check a long discord log AND the forums is a lot of busy work.

Just a chat room that almost every day turns into a argument over alignments, races and general how to RP as X, Y , and Z.
