Also, there will always be people who do everything they can do become max level as soon as possible... you can either design a PW to cater to their gaming habits, or to more casual gamers... I'd rather the gamers like that get to max level quickly, and possibly tire of the server rather than everyone else struggling to get anywhere... So it's a design decision...

On those notes though, we do need some more places to explore ;) and I'll be working on adding some more without doubt.

From my experience, people who struggle to avoid hugs usually end up having kicks to their bums.

Thus the question would be, which is the lesser of the two evils?

Neli has hit it just right with her comments about the server, and i practically agree with most of what she says-

Overall this sever is very much one of my all time favorites, in the small time ive spent here. It is very well immersive, and I was honestly suprised at the hospitality that I recieved as a new player. In most servers the people tend to ignore and not spend time with the newbie, though this server i was very much involved with several players in the first few days... so thank you for involving me.

Bravo Zulu (good job) to the Admin Team; I especially want to thank Mr O for taking the time to help and answer all the questions ive had. With the admin teams low numbers i am honestly suprised at how well this server is turning out. You guys are doing an excellent job, keep up the good work! With that said Id like to see a few more DM's in the future. With all of the hard work the current team is doing i still find the events a bit low, and though this doesnt hurt the experience much at all, it can defenately improve it.

I too love the idea of a running economy and dedicated crafters. The gp max on selling to NPCs, despite making me grumble, helps with more and more bartering, and defenately adds to the RP. My only problem with any of this is i am persuing (what appears to be) the all too vacant Alchemy side, and as of right now to my knowledge there is not very much of said items in the server. Id personally like to see more and more alchemy, though I understand how massive alchemy can be..

Overall Im hooked, my two characters despite being weeks and days old are already involved in immersive RP, and I am having a great time! looking forward to seeing you IG!.. erm.. after work. =/

I registered for the forum just so I could comment. :)

I'm a total n00b to the Planescape setting, despite a good number of years playing PnP D&D. So on the whole, everything about this server is new for me.

I started my online MMORPG on an NwN1 server, that still has me hooked. And when I finally got talked into buying NwN2, my expectations were fairly high. I'm sad to say, on the whole, I've been pretty disappointed with the servers I've found so far. Even the decent settings and admin teams have a huge problem with low number of players. Which eventually distracts and takes away from what could be a potentially good server.

It was by chance that I ended up here. A friend of mine stumbled across your site and sent me a link. So we decided to give it a go.

I think I've been on the server just over a week total. Though sadly I've not had as much IG time as I would've liked.

Much love to all of you. It's hard to break into a new server and yet I've already come across quite a few that are willing to take a n00b under their wing and make them feel at home. I've not yet explored much, but what I have seen so far, I do like. I like the fact that I can explore character concepts and not be stuck in pigeon hole. I like the ability to customize things to suit my taste or to suit my PC. [smiles] I'm even enjoying the fact that this server is geared toward an older audience. I helps the immersion when I don't have to feel like I have to watch every word I say, or worry about getting in certain situations.

If this is just the start ... I'm looking forward to a long stay :)

**edit**

If I had any one complaint so far ... y'all need to get your tushies in IRC :P

HiPS is two sided coin when it comes to that ;) people can't always see you. So incase you're hiding right in middle of group of monsters, it's something that can happen easily.
