Hmn... so, what did you do?
Anyway, if there is going to be trial, I'd advise you to avoid the following judges:
Aratik Melber the Mad, a barmy githzerai whose rulings are almost completely unpredictable. Almost as bad is Black Ogustus, a nearsighted human priest of Ptah whose rulings are so meticulous and so slow that he has been nicknamed “the Snail.” The third of the disastrous debaters, as expected from the rules of Threes, is Ylvirron the Cloven, a cornugon baatezu with and eye for his own profits and little else. Assisted by an erinyes clerk of the court named Kartina (whose cross.examinations are often agonizingly thorough), he bleeds advocates and plaintiffs dry with fees, fines, and none-too-subtle demands for garmishes. Since he was once an advocate himself Ylvirron knowns most of their tricks, and winning a case is a breeze for him. Despitehis incredible curruption (and notorious frenzier when advocates push him too far), Ylvirron's rulings are almost always perfect (if often harsh) examples of logical legal reasoning..

i should probably be there, seeing as bael is kind of an important witness, being the one to identify ceszar, and all. but you'd know that already. you aren't trying to cut me out, are you?

Naturally, people are quite fond of IG trials when it comes down RP-persistant worlds. However, as you may have already noticed, pulling one off is not such an easy feat.
Thus, I would recommend that you would handle the trial on the RP forums. It allows everyone to participate, when they can participate and get the whole thing done. People are required to write bit more than they usually do, but even long posts can be done by little by little.

Whoops, just noticed that. I also don't think Bael is kind of an important witness, he is THE most important witness, even more so than Deri. I think the entire trial will hinge on whether Ceszar can refute Bael's testimony or not. I'm not sure why you'd think otherwise, but I want as many people there as possible, especially Bael....cutting him out would be to Ceszar's disadvantage.cdnspr,Oct 20 2009 wrote:

This is an interesting suggestion, and I'm very open to it as it would definitely allow everyone to participate. I think I would still, however, prefer a live trial (if we can actually get one scheduled  ) seeing as how some of the spontaneity, thinking on your feet, and "AHA moments" may be lost in a PbP trial.wrote:Thus, I would recommend that you would handle the trial on the RP forums. I'll leave it up to others to decide if they'd rather have it on the forums or in game (both would be fine with me). If enough people want to have it PbP, then I'll start up an IC thread. If not, then how about this coming Sunday night (the 25th). That seems to work for everyone who posted.

Sunday night works for me.Zadara,Oct 23 2009 wrote: One final call for Players on Sunday Night (starting at 8:30pm Eastern Standard Time - +5 GMT). Please post if you are availible.
Just a little correction though, we're on EDT, which is -4, not +5. that could cause some players to be way early or way late :P
