Ahh...it was bound to happen - someone inevitably spots one of my typos and decides to make in fun of it.
One last perfect verse, but still the same old song.
*swat*
And sure. Gemme a cursed ass-hat I can stick on peoples heads at will, and Ill start writing up some vows.

what I like to do is when i see someone who's obviously drifted off is I'll build a tent around them. it conceals them from view and i think
it's rather appropriate considering their slumber.
i've tried building campfires under peoples' feet (slightly funnier, in my book) but apparently you can only build them next to someone. sometimes if you're too close it'll backfire and you build it under your own, then the person shows back up and you're stuck explaining why you're standing in a fire, lol
one time i forgot to log out before falling asleep and i napped 9 hours. when i got back, bael was still standing around in the market, if not slightly bumped from his usual position. why can't my network connection be that stable when i'm actually playing the game? forty minutes is the longest i can go without resetting it when i'm actually playing the game!

Shiv would be impressed, reminds me of dwarven smelting...and no you do not want to know.Knightoftheradish,Dec 20 2009 wrote:*Gwynnithe starts prowling the streets looking for the perfect sod to murder, steal their ass and make it into a suitable hat.*Neli,Dec 19 2009 wrote: I would ~kill~ to give Nick a cursed ass-hat when he falls asleep at the computer. Who do I need to bride to make that happen?
Lets just say when you melt down a dwarf they do not have as much metal in them as you helped.

Something for the DM's to consider...
Another server I used to play on had a certain NPC town cat that had Uber stats (it could kill a 30th level character in a few swipes of its paws). It would be totally benign, unless you killed a friendly faction-ed NPC or messed with the cat a bit too much (like repeatedly bumping it).
Anyone caught asleep at the keyboard would awake to find his PC surrounded by a herd of these cats (courtesy of a friendly DM).
Moving your character out of the herd of cloned cats without a visit to the dustmen would be EXTREEMLY hard.
LOL! :D

If we wanted to get rid of AFKing, we'd likely make an system that boots players that have been last 10 or so minutes without any kind of activity. ;)
But really, someone AFKing is not so huge crime :P not something I'd rather everyone be doing either all the time, but it's not so terrible.
